THE XLAB

introduction to the xlab for subjects:

Thank you for your interest in the Xlab. These "information for subjects" pages will instruct you on how to sign up for experiments, how to collect payment for participation in the Xlab, and how to un-register from the subject pool should you decide that you no longer want to be involved. You will likely find answers to other commonly asked questions under <faq for subjects>.

Please note the following guidelines when you come to the Xlab:

Arrive 15 minutes early for your experiment. There is a waiting area outside the Xlab. The Xlab staff will call you when it is time to sign in.

BRING A UCB PHOTO ID CARD.

Bring a pen or a pencil.

You may want to bring some reading materials in case you need to wait a few minutes to enter the lab, or if you need to wait for your payment.

If you cannot make it to an experiment you are scheduled for, please log into Sona to cancel your appointment. Failing to do so can adversely impact your researcher's study. Please be considerate. (Use the <sign up: experiments> link to the left.)

If you accrue 3 experiment no-shows, your account is automatically disabled.
