| register for experiments | payments: Participants will be paid by check after completing their experiment. The Xlab cannot mail your check, so please allow a few extra minutes for processing. This time is included in the experiment reservation block. Xlab staff will distribute payments at the end of the session. You can earn an average of $15 per hour of experimental participation. Should you show up for an experiment and are not needed, you will receive a $5 "show up fee."
