technology support: hardware in the lab

Hardware:

A PC facility, comprised of 40 systems, with a high reliability private wired network. A researcher is free to ask for a setup of any number of stations from 1 <= N <= 32.

Latitude E6400, Intel Core 2 Duo P8400, 2.26GHz, 80GB Hard Drive 9.5MM, 5400RPM for Latitude E6X00, 14.1 inch Wide WXGA Antiglare Screen for Latitude E6400, Integrated webcam with single digital microphone and Webcam Central Software, optical mouse, and Windows XP PRO SP3.

A master laptop configured as a server, running either Windows 32 bit Operating Systems or a Linux x86 build (You may need to provide binaries for OS's other than Windows XP or Windows 2003. Free Linux Operating Systems can be installed provided their license allows for such usage).

Space:

The Xlab is located in S460 Haas Business School.
The room capacity seats 36 people.
